Jamestown Story Stream New Covers Album 'A Collection of Covers Volume 1'
Jamestown Story already know how to make a song pretty, but in the past, it's always been their own tunes they've labored over. All that's about to change with their newest offering, A Collection of Covers Volume 1, where they've tackled seven songs from some of indie's best artists. Don't expect any cookie-cutter, karaoke renditions, though, because the duo have translated each of these songs into their own signature style. Say Anything's "Alive With the Glory of Love", has been stripped down and turned into a sweeping piano ballad, Lights' "Drive My Soul" has been made into a heartsick, acoustic jam, and Green River Ordinance's "Dancing Shoes" has been given an electric-guitar fueled jam session and a new, hand-clappy, group chorus part.
