Today, we're excited to introduce you to a brand new PV feature: Jam of the Day. For these posts, we let some of our favorite musicians take the reins and give us some insight on what they've been listening to as of late, and we couldn't be more excited to have Adam Lazzara pick the inaugural jam. Below, read why the Taking Back Sunday frontman can't get enough of J. Roddy Walston & The Business.
"J. Roddy Walston & the Business has been a band that i just can't seem to get enough of, and the song 'Heavy Bells' is the one that got me hooked," Lazzara confesses. "I remember a friend introducing me to the song and listening to it on repeat. The record (Essential Tremors) wasn't out at the time so, after some extensive googling, I ordered a copy of their first record and played it more times than I can count, there wasn't a bad song in the bunch. The Tuesday morning Essential Tremors was released, I made the trip to the record store first thing and, once again, not a bad song in the bunch. Now both of those records have become my go to's. It's not often these days that a band hits me like that. I can't quite describe it, but If you enjoy the true spirit of rock 'n' roll then look no further, because this band is that and then some."
Essential Tremors and J. Roddy Walston & The Business are both currently available through iTunes.
