Green Day Release "Kill The DJ" Music Video
It might initially seem as though Green Day's new video for "Kill The DJ" features nothing more than the guys riding through the desert on some kickass motorcycles, but be patient, for the rave is coming — and when it does, it's riotous. Splashes of color begin to permeate through the black-and-white landscape shots, leading way to a massive dance floor crowded with ravers decked out in elaborate costumes and barley-there ensembles. Here, they seduce, mingle, fight, and rage with each other while that iconic disco ball twirls overhead and those neon strobe lights set the mood. Of course, the band make their mark with a grand entrance (sans motorcycles) and take to the stage, soundtracking the party's brutal and amusing antics. Check it out.
"Kill The DJ" comes off the first of the band's trilogy albums, ¡UNO!, due out September 25.
