Passion Pit + Modest Mouse to Headline Governors Ball 2012
We know that summer music festivals can be hard to keep track of, what with the constant announcements tending to create a blur of dates and lineups. However, you won't want to let this year's Governors Ball slip through your radar. The festival has announced this year's line-up, and it's a guitar-happy, synth-crazy mix of indie favorites. Headliners include Passion Pit, Duck Sauce, Chromeo, Beck, Modest Mouse, and Explosions in the Sky -- and the rest of the lineup is equally as impressive. We're talking Atmosphere, Santigold, Devendra Banhart, Cults, Built To Spill, and a slew of others. The festival is set to take place the weekend of June 23-24 on Randall's Island [the small strip of land between Manhattan and The Bronx.] Pre-sale tickets go on sale tomorrow [Feb 22], and you can check out the full lineup in the crazy announcement video above, or on the festival's official websites.
