While some bands break our hearts with hiatuses, others stitch them back up with crazy resurrections.
Crime In Stereo did just that with the announcement they have reformed. "Hiatus rescinded. We are immediately returning to work on recording/releasing new music," the band revealed to
AbsolutePunk. "We know. We were “only” broken up for two years. Two years was long enough. We love/d making music together. Its absence was felt deeply by all of us. So we return."
And what will their return entail? For one thing, a live show with
I Am The Avalanche on November 24 at NYC's
Gramercy Theatre. And then, the really good part: "We are focusing our energy towards the release of new music," the band continued. "When new music exists, we will play more shows. That’s all we can say, for now. Come sing with us. Loudly. We miss your smiling faces."
You heard the boys. Go spin their past tunes and be sure to
grab tickets to their NY show when they go on sale this Friday [October 5].
