Watch Coldplay Perform R.E.M.'s "Everybody Hurts"
It's no longer news that music legendaries R.E.M have called it quits, but in the week following the untimely break, it seems like everybody has had something to say...including Coldplay. At a recent concert in R.E.M.'s hometown of Athens, Ga., Coldplay treated the crowd to an acoustic version of "Everybody Hurts." Frontman Chris Martin asked the audience to "see [the performance] for its gesture rather than its actual sound... [it's meant] to show how much they meant to us." We think it's a cover R.E.M. would be pleased with. Check out the performance and let us know what you think.
