August Premier's "Little Girl" -- Song of the Day
August Premier are the Chicago foursome with a sound that balances perfectly between gritty and melodic. Take, for example, the premiere of their new single "Little Girl." In this one song, they've managed to to find angst in innocence, while still maintaining a sense of vulnerability, and their powerpop meets punk instrumentation will have you coming back for second spins. And, for those all about the fun facts, this one features a small guest vocals appearance from Allister's Tim Rogner. "Little Girl" is taken from the band's upcoming album, Happy Miserable, slated for a March 27 release via Pacific Ridge Records.
