PureVolume Exclusive: As I Lay Dying Premiere "A Greater Foundation" Music Video
In the premiere of their sweltering new video for "A Greater Foundation," As I Lay Dying take to a dimly lit stage to crank out cutting guitar riffs and crushing percussion, while a circle pit of bystanders thrash all around them. "The energy of this video reminds me of what it felt like back when I first started going to shows and getting in the pit," explains vocalist Tim Lambesis. "The chaos of fans and band colliding is the kind of connection we've always tried to have. Everyone who participated in the shoot had an amazing time and you can tell."
"A Greater Foundation" comes off the band's forthcoming new album, AWAKENED, due out September 25 via Metal Blade Records. Pre-orders are now available as both digital downloads and as packaged bundles. On October 15, the band will also be heading out on their European tour with Trivium, Caliban and Upon A Burning Body, before heading back for the tour's US run in November.
