Toronto indie-rockers Arkells place themselves inside a virtual scrapbook with the premiere of their new music video, "On Paper." Taking cues from the song's title, the band collage music and visuals with the help of assorted construction paper backgrounds and graphic embellishments, including cut-outs of themselves and characters in the song's storyline. "[This song] is a Rock-n-Soul song — it was somewhat inspired by the Gaslight Anthem — but we wanted the video to express something delicate and dreamy; something to illuminate the lyrics and production," the band told us. "It was made by our friends Nadia and Maya who are two of the best young visual artists in Toronto right now. Enjoy!"
Watch the video's exclusive premiere and go grab the album this tune comes off of, Michigan Left, out now. You can also catch the band on tour in both the US and the UK this fall.
