NME sat down with Alex Gaskarth and Jack Barakat from All Time Low to talk festivals and get the scoop on their new album, Don't Panic. Shot backstage during Reading Festival, this video interview also offers an exclusive look at the wonderfully maddening vibe the festival presents. The return to the R&L was a particular highlight for the band as well. "We've kind of seen incremental growth since we've come back," said Gaskarth. "It's nice to come back and realize you're climbing up the timetable, playing for more people."
Of the new album, which is set to drop this fall via Hopeless Records, Barakat notes that it bares influences from the band's extensive discography. "This new album is kind of So Wrong, It's Right, Nothing Personal, and Dirty Work all in one, and you can hear it in the songs," he says. Gaskarth agreed, noting that "it's a really solid record for this band...and a step in the right direction."
