Alesana Embraces the Inferno on New Concept Album

Alesana have never been content to just make an album. Some bands will take a chance, try something new, and come up with a one-off concept album, but Alesana are on their fourth. With past recordings based on Greek mythology, Edgar Allen Poe and fairy tales, their fourth studio release, A Place Where The Sun Is Silent (October 18th) turns to arguably the most famous piece of literature ever written about the depths of hell: Dante's The Inferno. The band sat down with Noisecreep and opened up a little about their process, and you can click over for the interview and a full schedule for their Rock Yourself to Sleep Tour, with supporting cast A Skylit Drive, Sleeping With Sirens, Atila, Memphis May Fire, and Serianna.
