Listen to an Adele/Daft Punk Mashup "Something About The Fire"
There's no denying it. Mashups are awesome -- especially when they involve songs by Adele and Daft Punk. That's where Carlos Serrano comes in, the genius behind this "Something About the Fire" remix, which mashes Adele's stellar "Set Fire To The Rain" and Daft Punk's iconic "Something About Us." The result is an oddly wonderful retelling of both originals, which keeps each song's prime features intact while situating them in alongside a relative opposite element. Basically, Adele's vocals coast on Daft Punk's electro-chill grooves, and the whole thing's just a crazy trip to an alternate musical reality.
