New Day Awakening is a hardcore/metal band hailing from Denver, CO. Formed in the spring of 2002, the band has undergone a slow evolutionary process, transforming into a brutal metallic hardcore force to be reckoned with. A range of bands from As I Lay Dying, to Iron Maiden, to Stretch Arm Strong comprise a list of influences, while the band maintains a unique vision of laying tough metal over bone crushing rhythms and breakdowns. New Day Awakening has had the honor of sharing the stage with bands such as Haste the Day, Fear Before the March of Flames, Hawthorne Heights, Dead Poetic, Nodes of Ranvier, Bloodlined Calligraphy, Alove for Enemies, and many more.

The driving force behind every action of New Day Awakening is an intense devotion and love for Jesus Christ. New Day Awakening does not believe in preaching to the masses, but they maintain a mission statement of pumping up Christian kids in the hardcore scene to go out and fight the battles in their own scenes for Jesus Christ every day, while maintaining a love for non-Christians as well, as they believe Jesus would have done.
