Hey everyone,
We've noticed the rumors floating around about us and we are happy to announce that we have signed contracts with Eyeball Records. For those of you who have been following us for a while, you are aware that this release is long overdue. That is because of the fact that we are incredibly particular about who we surround ourselves with. We have spent the last 2 years building our team out of people who we love and trust. We have been especially careful in our label search and were pleasantly surprised when Eyeball approached us and showed us what they have to offer. We love their attitudes and understanding of music. Most importantly, they have a great sense of who New Atlantic is and what is right for us. Thank you all so much for your ongoing support these past couple of years! We never could have gotten this far without you!

P.S. Check out our new Myspace Page while you're at it!
Below is an official stament from the band and our new label:

New Atlantic signs to Eyeball Records; release a digital single.
For fans, the wait is over. New Atlantic officially signed to Eyeball Records. "We're honored that New Atlantic chose to sign with us", said label co-owner Marc Debiak, "We immediately connected with the band as friends which only strengthened our endless admiration for their talent and work ethic. Not to mention they are some really handsome dudes".
New Atlantic issued the following official statement to fans and friends: "We've noticed the rumors floating around about us and we are happy to announce that we have signed contracts with Eyeball Records. Most importantly, they have a great sense of who New Atlantic is and what is right for us."
To celebrate the announcement the band and label released "Wire And Stone," a brand new online-exclusive track featuring guest vocals by the band's longtime friend Will Pugh of Cartel. This version of the song will not be on the upcoming album and can be purchased on iTunes, as well as many other digital stores.
Currently, the band are in Seattle recording their debut album with producers Casey Bates and Bobby Darling of Gatsby's American Dream. The new album, titled "The Streets, The Sounds, and The Love" will be in stores everywhere on April 10th, 2007.

Hey everyone!
I hope you're all doing well? Everything is going great in the New Atlantic world! We just had a short week or so off... it was really nice to have some time to ourselves after being on the road for so many months, but we're back to writing now and look forward to our shows coming up.
As Dave mentioned in a previous post, we have a lot of cool news/secrets to announce in the upcoming weeks, so I figure it's about time we let you in on one...
I'm sure you've all come across his photos on our myspace or seen that infectious smile at one of our shows, haha... but our good friend Jake Kalb, who had previously been filling in on drums for us, is now officially a member of the band. He's been writing and on the road with us for nearly 5 months now, so I'm sure he's no stranger to you all.
It's about time we made this announcement... We love Jake and couldn't be happier to have him as a part of our family!

hey everyone!
here's an update from our livejournal (www.livejounal.com/users/newatlantic)... please add us if you're a member!
so we just got home from tour late last week... the shows w/ cartel, the working title, and terminal were pretty incredible! after those dates, we finally got to head out west and meet up w/ our friends in waking ashland & the fold! thank you to everyone out there who really made us feel welcome playing in an entirely new place... you're all amazing and we can't wait to come back to the west coast in march!
so, this past tour was quite the experience...
our exhaust on the bus cracked somewhere between denver & salt lake city, and apparantly we were all breathing in carbon monoxide for a few days... chris got the worst of it, and ended up getting really sick :( we got the exhaust fixed out in sacramento, but chris rode in waking ashland's van for the rest of the tour and we flew him home after the hollywood show... thanks again to waking ashland for helping us out, we love you guys!
since chris was on a flight home, we were forced to play acoustic in arizona, but it actually went pretty well... there was a ton of kids there, and usually people talk up a storm when a band they've never seen before is playing acoustic, but surprisingly everyone was all ears, so thank you soo much tempe... we can't wait to come back as a full band and make it up to you!
oh, so i forgot to mention on the way to arizona we stopped just on the border and got some food, etc. well, the bus wouldn't start for about 2 to 3 hours and we thought we were gonna miss the show, but this really nice guy ended up coming over and seriously spent a good 45 minutes to an hour helping us get it started... nonetheless, we made it to the show on time... so thank you Raul, you're the man!
okay, so after that happened we made the decision to leave the bus running and never shut it off... i mean, it made complete sense... if you have a problem starting something, you can't have that problem anymore if it's already started??? so we basically left it running for about 3 days (while still adding gas & oil), it's a tank i tell ya... haha, anyways we had a 35 hour nonstop drive back home to jersey from tempe and we made it home in about 48 hours, not w/ out problems of course!
8 hours from home, out in ohio, our exhuast broke again letting fumes into the cabin! our personal repairman dave carlson tried to patch it up w/ aluminum tape, and we then discussed the burning temperature of duct tape... but since the exhaust had split completely in half, we just said screw it and drove home in the freezing cold w/ the windows open in our sleeping bags >:O no one planned on missing christmas! oh, and i set a personal record of 14 hours & 800 miles on the ride home, driving through new mexico, texas, oklahoma, and into missouri.. as you can see, i'm quite proud of myself :)
yeah, so that was our crazy month of december... actually a lot of fun! haha, so we'll be taking january off to write & then record some new songs in february w/ vince ratti who just did the valencia record... we're pretty stoaked! can't wait to get you all some new music! we should have some demos online before we leave for tour again in march w/ waking ashland, sherwood, this day & age... after that tour, we split off and head west to meet up w/ the "screaming is for babies tour" (the starting line, copeland, gatsby's american dream, cartel) in los angeles and open for them on a two week run... how often do you get to play w/ 4 amazing bands in one night??? that tour is gonna rule!
soooo anyways, thank you all so much as always for everything... we wouldn't be writing music & fighting off toxic fumes if it wasn't for you! hope your having yourselves a great time around the holidays and please have a fun & safe new year!

I'd like to note that we plan on touring the universe next year. NASA is getting our space ship ready. We dont expect the turnouts to be great, but we're sure it will be a good time. First band to tour the universe works for us. - Dave
