Last year after becoming one of purevolume's Top 21 Unsigned of 2008, Surprises took a little bit of a break. "I was getting a little overwhelmed, Surprises was for me and the people that supported me over the years, not record labels, but before i knew it they were everywhere and truthfully i got a little scared" says Paschal.
