Barbados native Rihanna is on the verge of having a museum built for her in her home country. While she already has Rihanna Drive in Barbados that fans can visit, it looks like she'll receive one more celebratory achievement.

The singer has had a tremendous 2018 and 2019 already, as she became the wealthiest female singer earlier on in 2019. She achieved a large portion of her wealth through her entrepreneurial ventures like Fenty Beauty and SAVAGE X FENTY, a cosmetics and lingerie line, respectively.

Rumors like this always start to spread, but this isn't false. It comes directly from the mouth of the prime minister of Barbados, Mia Amor Mottley.

Mottley said that Rihanna deserves the honor after coming from nothing to becoming "the most successful woman entertainer in the entire globe, in my view deserves to be recognized in her life as a living legend of Barbados as well." Talks with Rihanna's manager, brother, and the Barbados government have already begun.

As a youth, Rihanna faced challenges, such as her father's alcoholism and drug addiction. It wouldn't be until her teenage years when she sang with two classmates that she would get discovered by an American music executive.

Fast forward to 2018, and she gets appointed an ambassador by the Barbados government. Now, in 2019, her country is attempting to immortalize her even further.
