The Lost Weekend is a rock group based in Orlando, FL with a wide range of influences that includes everything from old country music and folksy singer/songwriters to 60's Brit pop and modern pop punk. The project originated with Alex Knight, former member of The Arrival and Lampwick, wanting to record a group of songs he had written primarily just for his friends and family. He enlisted the help of his former band mates from The Arrival and began a process that took over a year to complete. As the album began to take shape, everyone involved agreed that these songs needed to be released to anyone who wanted to listen.

The Lost Weekend's debut album, A Revisionist's Guide to the American Dream, is intended to take the listener on a storytelling journey through all of the band's musical influences. It is truly a labor of love and the end result of years of work from a group of musicians who love every detail of music: writing, playing, recording, sharing, and listening. The major intention of this release is that the listener enjoys the album as much as the artists enjoyed creating it.
