Fans already familiar with Nate Flynn know two things: one, that his charismatic and engrossing stage presence is hard to resist, and two, he is just as attentive and charismatic while talking and interacting with his fans. Nate Flynn spent several years in the music industry as an energetic bassist for the now defunct Minneapolis-based band Sing it Loud traveling and touring the US, Canada, and the UK during the band’s short but successful career with Epitaph Records.

Now on the heels of his band’s break up, Nate, currently living in Houston, TX has decided to switch things up. Drawing influences from a variety of country music artists such as Keith Urban and Taylor Swift, Nate changed from bouncy bassist to guitar playing solo country act with an already impressive list of achievements. In just the eight months following Sing it Loud’s final show, Nate has released two official singles on iTunes called “Mama” and “Beauty of Everyday.” He completed two tours before the end of March. He toured in the Midwest with Kieren Smith and Jamestown Story, and he also booked an acoustic solo tour on the eastern US seaboard in March. However, releasing singles and two tours was not enough for the ambitious former Minnesota native. Nate Flynn used the independent creativity fundraising website called Kickstarter.com to collect funds to help release his own album independently called Livin’ Life on June 23.

The twenty-two year old singer songwriter has known since he was thirteen years old that music was his passion, and more importantly, what he wanted to spend his life doing. Judging on an impressive jumpstart, paired with an accomplished past, and accompanied with an intense summer of acoustic solo shows and following the Vans Warped Tour, Nate has both the ambition and passion to become a regular household name for his light-hearted country pop music. Or in the words of his first single, Nate Flynn definitely has the right mix of business, talent, and charm to “make [his mother] proud.”
