Man Overboard Talk Making New Sounds Without Compromising Old Ones [PV Q&A] >>

"Montrose":

Man Overboard is a movement that a lot of us have been waiting for. They are tired of the lip-synching, Justin Timberlake-wannabe, neon wearing, cheesy hair metal crap that passes itself off as pop-punk in 2011. Man Overboard is defending the honesty, integrity, DIY spirit that pop punk was built on and restore it's good name. Their sound brings back the feeling you got listening to bands like Brand New, Lifetime, Taking Back Sunday, The Early November, and The Get Up Kids. Writing songs and hooks that get kids excited today while still maintaining an influence from yesterday Man Overboard are writing songs that matter in kids lives. Each week these four guys take their sound across America, descending from Williamstown, NJ to whoever will have them. They have recently been on tour with Senses Fail in the UK and the US. Last year Man Overboard came out with their debut full length called "Real Talk" on Run For Cover Records. They recently released an EP called "The Absolute Worst" on Rise Records. In May 2011 Man Overboard will be releasing a new comp called "The Human Highlight Reel," featuring the bands brand new song "Driveway".
