Here is 'Story of The Early Days,' the debut EP from Hoodie Woody Freaky, the three young man who comprise music from what they had. Combining beatbox and two acoustic guitars together. “Story of The Early Days, we named it. Since it’s the beginning and introduction of our music story and someday we will recall it as a psychadelic daydream long past.” Said Haikal. Consisting of four tracks, Introbeat, Rain, Senyuman and Prison and Love. Every song is a reflection of the simple daily life experiences that may be more meaningful if you can do metaphor or read it beyond the line. like the rain tells of the obstacles that we don’t expect, senyuman tells about what we like and want it to stay beautiful while the prison and love tells about a dream. Hoodie Woody Freaky’s lyrical lines that are purposefully designed to get stuck in your head is written by the vocalist, Haikal. All the songs was recorded in home recording,KneeandToes Home Records, specificly in a small bedroom with the simple equipments. “it’s nice works, my friend thought i recorded all the tracks in conventional studio recording when first time i leaked the matters to him” said Haikal.

Hoodie Woody Freaky is offering an alternative excitement pop nuance. The musical style is widely recognizable by its unique blend of beatbox with the acoustic guitars. HWF has been widely attributed to a number of different genres, including jazz, pop punk, ballad, RnB, and soul . “overall, it sounds like pop, simple pop or whatever pop eventhough first time we can’t identify the genre because each person in HWF have the different background music influences.” Stated Tobing . Hoodie Woody Freaky is Haikal ( vocal,guitar), Tobing (guitar), Fikri(beatbox) formed in the end of 2009. “first i met Tobing, we had the same faculty and then i met Haikal through friend of mine, everything is flowing so on untill now we have the hardwork team based from friendship” revealed Fikri.

In the middle of july, Story of The Early Days has released through two netlabels, Digital Kunstrasen (Germany) and Acustronica ( Italy). “ we really like Hoodie Woody Freaky's music and it is different. so it fits our release-catalog perfectly..” Said Thomas kempka, one of founder DK. Digital Kunstrasen is a netlabel which has been founded in april, 2005. The purpose of Digital Kunstrasen is the publication and circulation of music, lyric and art. Depending on personal likings and the general quality of the work.Hoodie Woody Freaky is the first asian band which have been released at Digital Kunstrasen netlabel. While Acustronica is netlabel from Italy which want to find and to promote those musicians and bands who are making some refreshing and creative music. So the EP is free, by downloading at those netlabel websites. The works are under common creative license (cc by-nc 3.0), which is you are free to :
