We just thought we'd finally set down and write a blog about this tour. Things have been amazing. We've played some killer shows with some amazing bands and lots of amazing new friends. So let me update you on everything up until now. Kearney, NE It rained on us all the way there and the winds tried to blow us away, but we made it. We played the show at Bico's with Mortal Dezire (they set the show up for us, thanks a ton). They flippin rock and are some of the nicest guys you'll meet in Kearney. We'll rock again fellas 3 J'S - Johnstown, CO Birth of Jubal - quickly became our good friends and we plan on hanging out and camping together at C-Stone! They are amazing. You should check them out and hang with all of us at C-Stone. We love you JellyRizzle, Gramps and Alisha... and the other guys too. ha ha Thanks for letting us crash at your house and staying up with us until morning talking music! Born In Winter - Very good band, based out of Denver. Great musicians. Check them out as well. Our show in Denver at the Underground fell through, so we headed up the Craig, CO. a day early. Thanks to A Sign of Tragedy for letting us crash at their house an extra day. We weren't to sure how the craig show was going to be since someone told us that there's only cowboys in Craig. WRONG!!! Scene kids came out of no where. HA HA We flippin love Craig, CO. We can't wait to get back there. It was a killer show. We made a ton of new friends and you all better keep in contact with us. We'll be back soon!! We had the next day off so we headed towards Ennis, MT. We thought we'd be adventurous and camp near Yellowstone Park. LOL..... Camping Adventure: **Warning Bears gone wild** We went to wal-mart and got some groceries. We decided we were going to make hobo dinners. That's where you take the meat, veggies, etc. Wrap it all together in tin foil and put it in the camp fire to cook. We started setting up our tents and before we were half way done it started raining. Resulting in us having to drive to town for some dry firewood. We were determined to make our hobo dinners. The fire was finally built and we started cooking our hobo dinners. It was really dark, cold and wet. As we were sitting around the fire we started hearing noises that was too loud and scary sounding to be a deer. It started coming closer and getting louder. We realized that we better pack up camp and get the heck out of there.... but not without our hobo dinners!! Burnt fingers or not the guys got the dinners in the van and we drove away. We drove straight through to Ennis, MT. dodging deer, anteloupes, and mooses all the way. LOL I think we've had enough wild life to last us a while. We told some hunters in Ennis about our camping experience and the noises we heard and they confirmed that it was most definitely a bear. This Glorious adventure has thus inspired our new song: A GRIZZLY BEAR ALMOST ATE MY HOBO DINNER! Check it out at an upcoming show. Ennis, MT - Was fun but a long 4 days. We were suppose to play at the highschool, but it was canceled due to them deciding to let school out a day early. That Friday night we played a show at Ennis A/G church and had a pizza party. That was fun. Saturday we played at Lyons park, it rained right after we played, we ate a free hot dog and headed down the road to Williston, ND. Our biggest fan lives in Ennis. Her name is Mariah Jackson, 6 years old and can scream as good as DeAngela. The Red Barn - Williston, ND - We pulled up to a red barn in the middle of a trailer park.... and wondered what in the heck we got ourselves into. This turned out to be one of the best shows of the tour. The crowd was amazing, the venue treated us really good and we made so many new friends. Panic Assembly you guys were great. You better have your vocalist next time we tour your way, cause we need to hear it. Keep in touch with us! KC Hall - Huron, SD - JIM You will always be a part of the band! Check out his other band - Here Lies The Traitor. ha ha There wasn't many people at the show, but the bands were good. Des Moines Cancelled on us the day before the show, so jim helped us find a last minute show in Rockford, IL The Wired, in Rockford Speedway. (Murder by Marshmellows) Same as the show the night before, there weren't much people, but good bands. Sleep Serapis Sleep and Amarna Reign. You should look them up. We played with them 2 nights in a row. They are AMAZING! We had to leave the show early due to the fact that we had no place to stay. So we headed over to Rock Cut Park to camp. The night consisted of stealing campfires, rabid racoons and sleeping in a tent amidst a Tornado warning!!! SCARY. So we prayed, stuck in the ear plugs and went to sleep. The night also might have included murder by (antifreeze) marshmellows, but the evidence was inconclusive. We were never in Rock Cut Park ha ha! But our next song will probably be called Murder by Marshmellows Swing State - Lake Villa, IL A hooka bar in a small town. There was a great crowd.... until the vocalist for the band that played before us tried to pick a fight with one of the kids and they all left. THANKS!! Other than that, the venue we freakin sweet. Thank you Pops and max for being great to us. Same goes to SSS and AR. We hope to play a show with you guys again soon. Thanks for letting us use your light boxes. Berlin Music Pub - Fort Wayne, IN We got there and found out that we couldn't play cause Micah is only 17 ha ha. Good thing we didn't start unloading first. So ya, we drove to straight to Indianapolis to crash with Daniel's family. Daniel is the guy that filled in for us on drums year for the homecoming in Indianapolis and in Grand Rapids. Franklin, IN Tonights show was canceled - Take a look at the news Channel. Indiana is Flooding like crazy. You can't even get into the town of Franklin right now. They are saying there will be more flooding. Pray for Indiana and the people in the flooded areas. It's pretty bad. Pray that the flooding stops. And that we don't get stuck in Indiana. =) We have a show tomorrow night at Valley Mills Christian Church in Indianapolis with Of the Son & Tug Fork River Band. Hopefully the flooding won't keep people from coming out to the show. We'll let you all know how it goes. I'm out of here for now, Check back for more stuff. DeAngela
