Texas is huge and full of deer.

So, at about 6:30 P.M. on Friday evening, we all got in the big red van and started our trip south and west. We drove through Tennessee, Arkansas, and part of Texas until we ended up at Lubbock at about noon on Saturday morning. I hate drives like that, but it was definitely worth it once we got there. The people helping were so nice, and the crowd was fun and receptive. So, we did that whole shindig and then got back into the van around 11:30 P.M and started driving the same route from before. I had first shift, and, I kid you not, Adam Rowe and I counted up to 35 deer (live ones) on the side of the highway and then lost count. It was bizarre, and I slammed on the brakes a couple of times to avoid making our grill and windshield the same color as the paint (and because I love deer of course). But, about 18 hours later, we arrived back home in Chattanooga yesterday.

All of this to say, touring is grueling and ugly sometimes, but it is also wonderful. We have such a good time meeting so many unique people, and you all encourage us to keep making music and killing our bodies in a van.

For everyone in Texas, the Punk the Halls tour is coming back down there in a couple of weeks or so. We would love to see you all again... and, Santa does use reindeer for his engine. - Peace, Joshua
