Nevermind the Story formed in the days of September of 2005 as Ajay Ross, Adam Longworth, Josh Bowers and Zack Ennis. We felt we put all these pieces together, then becoming hooked on the sound that we developed to call our own by the early stages of October.

Following up on the small city hype, November was taken by storm. Recording our first 4 song demo and displaying our talent and chemistry to none other than Joey Sturgis of Foundation Studios. Then came to our hometown of Springfield, Ohio to play our first show in a weeks time, to an overwhelming crowd of two hundred kids. Then to a week to week basis of playing shows everywhere and anywhere possible. Only leading up to January and our debut on 98.3 W.P.K.O in Bellefountaine, Ohio. Releasing our first single "Lame Endings For The Worst Legends." Then off to Febuary opening up for The Queers at Peabody's in Cleveland, Ohio. Within all this time we started gathering publicity from word of mouth and from our fans which put our name out everywhere. With the exposure that gained us sponserships from Sapsimmeyun Clothing, Kill Time Productions Clothing, and the amazing help put together by others. That put the attention and spotlight all on us. To only do bigger and better things in March by recording our first 6 song EP "The Small City Killed Us All" with Joey Sturgis Of Foundation Studios. Continuing to play shows after shows getting the word out about our EP in cities all throughout Ohio, and making some noise in the Columbus Scene finishing 6th out of 75 bands in the Emergenza Battle of The Bands Finals. We felt we were making our mark.

After all the remarkable events Nevermind the Story went through as a small city band. It all came crashing down shortly after July when Adam Longworth announced he was leaving the band. Which lead Ajay, Josh & Zack to carry Nevermind the Story on thier backs. Introducing Ryan Clay & Jake Bonham to join Nevermind the Story. Recording the demo to release the new sound in mid August Ajay Josh & Zack felt it wasn't the right thing to do to keep Nevermind the Story going without their original frontman Adam Longworth, so the band called it quits on September 1st.

While we all were in these other bands we felt that this isn't where we needed to be or where we wanted to be, we all knew what we were missing. Fans and friends would express how much they missed and wanted Nevermind the Story to make their comeback. So conversations started between all the original members, resolving feelings and conflicts that aimed towards the end. The smiles started consuming all our faces, and those butterflies came back. For November to come back around for the first rehersal after a 4 month break and the music never sounded better. Yet there were questions about guitarist Zack Ennis and where he had already moved onto a different destination. Leading us to B.J. Krouse our new guitarist, the same guitarist to share the stage with Adam Longworth in Anna Bella, so there was chemistry there and never made it a hard decsion to really bring Nevermind the Story Back together.

December marks a new beginning for Nevermind the Story to carry on their history and also make new memories. Continuing on the frantic pace and epic movement of Nevermind the Story.
