Rising from being the newcomers to a bustling scene in 2005 to playing shows with bands such as Drowning Pool, Nervous Existence remains one of few surviving bands in the Oil City, Pennsylvania area. The band consists of 5 highly motivated and talented artists who strive to write creative and new material based around the metal genre. Nervous Existence is Zach Jones on the drums, Rob Sampsell on the mic, Elliot Hogue and Jared Hamilton on the guitars, and Mike Billings on the bass, each member bringing their own sound and influence to create a solid mix. The band self-released their debut album titled "Repent For Nothing" in early 2007. The album was recorded at East State Studios, located in Seneca, PA. Currently, Nervous Existence is writing new material and looking to play shows. The band is proud to announce that they will be recording and releasing a BRAND NEW album in the summer of 2009. As this marks the second, long awaited and highly anticipated album for the band, they have just begun to rise. Prepare for heavy metal.
