NECK Bio.

London-Irish band NECKs irrepressible Psycho-Ceildh sound has matured over six years of furious global gigging. The 6-piece band juxtaposes, perfectly, the swirling, spiritual abandon of Traditional Irish music (fiddle, tin-whistle, banjo and Uilleann bag-pipes); with the rip-roaring, electric energy of a full-on Punk band! This is all topped-off with the raucous, passionate vocals of song-smith Leeson O'Keeffea man with the undeniable pedigree of having stood beside Shane MacGowan in The Popes, as well as having guested on banjo with The Alabama 3, of TVs The Sopranos fame.

NECKs up-lifting, rowdy live show has careered across Europe and the U.S. from Moscow to Nashville, hitting festival audiences square between the ears and raising new fans with every gig they've played; including with their U.S. contemporaries The Dropkick Murphys & Flogging Molly. Bostons 'Irish Punk' radio station/ web-zine/ compilation album that revels in all things Emerald and Loud is named for the Neck tune, Shite & Onions and their "Psycho-Ceildh" e.p. featured strongly in a New York's Irish Voice Top Ten releases chart which included U2 and Sinad O'Connor!

Make no mistake - with their roots, understanding & command of the music, NECK are most certainly the real deal when it comes to proper Irish Folk-fuelled Punk!
