Hey everyone, we arent done recording so the stuff that is up now is just a preview. Once we find some time we will be back in Chloes basement recording the rest of our tracks and hopefully putting the final touches on The Masks We Wear. Thanks for all of your support and tell all your friends.

Hello, Hello veiwers my name is Chloe Ammmorette and I will try to sound like an intellectual writer while telling the unfinished bio about our band. I met the two of the three founders of The Mad Hatters( Ace , Julie Marie) in middle school. During my first year of middle school I was completely oblivious to the words " Emo" and " Underground music". When I met Ace and Julie they were kind enough to intoduce me to the wonderful world of good music. As I began to get numerous problems wrong on my math homework due to listening to the c.d.'s my new friends were making for me I began to desire greatly to be in a band. When I had shared my crazy idea with Julie one night after a long conversation I had realized that she was just as crazy as me about the idea. When we had shared our crazy idea with Ace a few days later, she automaticaly decided to be a part of it. For now the three members of our lovely band are Ace who plays bass and is probaly one of the most unique and individual people you will meet. Then there is Julie Marie who is the guitar palyer. Julie is one of the most random people anyone will encounter. Her mood often switches between really hyper to zen, (like, she will be able to stay up until 3 in the morning recording and still being running around, jumping up and down, and dancing), but she makes up for it with her random killer rifts on the guitar. Last but not leats is me, I am the vocals, and I can't stand listening to my voice, but I hope you can withstand it. I don't really know what to say about myself exept that anyone can agree with me when I say that I strive to be different and unique in my own way. I hate following the crowds and I think people should resist it as well.

my turn, it is julie marie and i will give everyone some more background info because i want to tell my side of the story. i was introduced into the world of alternative rock as a young child from various babysitters who cared for me while my mother worked on her degree as she returned to college. my interest only grew as i grew and i could not get enough. i soon longed for a guitar to call my own and was given one while i had the flu in the january of my sixth grade year and had to miss my brother's basketball game. i have rarely go a day without playing it. art has always been a big part of my life as well. i love drawing and painting and i can sit in front of my computer all night and play with photoshop. my interest in literature also grew but i am not quite sure why (i am not the fastest reader), i started reading everyhting from ernest hemmingway, edgar allen poe, nathaniel hawthorne, C.S. lewis, goerge orwell, and shakespear, to more modern authors like anne rice, stephen king, lemony snicket, and darren shan. music and lit influenced me greatly to start thinking about everything, the world, life, death, and stuff like that. i also began to question everything. chloe and i have known eachother for nearly our whole lives but we had never really talked. one day we started talking about vampire movies in class and realized we wernt that different and our interests were similar. after we started hanging out i gave her a couple of cds and helped her develop her own tastes in alternative music. Chloe and ace are some of my best friends. i have shared so many good times with aceand we can get totally crazy when we get together. chloe is like the parental figure of the three of us. i couldnt tell you how many times i have heard her say stuff like "stop that!" or "julie, focus!" or "why are you doing that, its so dumb" and "calm down, you are to hyper." and as for myself, i can only hope to become a better guitar player and musician. it was at a particullarly stressful point in my life when we came together and ended up staying up all night just tossing around the idea of starting up a band to help us through it. we immediantly started writing and playing with different riffs. we started out extremely inexperienced and all we had was an old acoustic guitar, courtesy of chloe's father (i think it came from somewhere in turkey), and my electric guitar with a tiny amp. we are still inexpierenced but we are determined and we will grow and hopefully make it out of just afew kids who play in a basement until four in the morning recording with a computer and hoping it sounds ok.

we recently spent all night in chloe's basement recording those three songs and working on some other ones with the fantasy we could record eleven tracks in one night with garage band, we were sadly mistaken so be on the look out for new stuff.
