Michael Sandefer started from such an early age with music. His mother reports that even as a small baby, Mike's whole world would stop anytime music came on. His mother says that he would drop anything he was doing and start dancing. Mike began writing songs at age 10 and started joining and dropping bands from the age of 15 to 18. It wouldn't be until age 18 that Mike decided that having a band just wasant the way to do it. Mike started experimenting with computer programs such as Fruity Loops, Ejay Hip-Hop, Ejay Platinum and Sonic Foundry Acid 4.0. Mike could never seem to find a sound he liked, none of the pre-recorded loops could do Mike any justice with where he wanted to go in his music. After kicking around for a little while, Mike discovered Reason 2.5 and then later the Reason 3.0 update and began working on his new sound.
After a long journey with a mix of darkwave electronica and industrial music, Mike began to mature and grow from that point. These days, the head of My Perfect Apathy is perfecting the transition from darkwave industrial sounds, to darkwave electronica mixed with jazz, lounge and blues music with a rhythm backbone.
The debut album "Depth of Madness" is on the way, and is in the final stages of being recorded, mixed and mastered now. Mike-C is personally overseeing his project with BG Chophouse Studio owner Ryan Adkins from Bowling Green, KY.
Its rumored that Mike has already selected a catchy track off of his new album called "Mafia Man" to go to radio.
