MCE was born in 2002. In 2004 their debut demo was released. "The Phantom Comes Within" led to their first shows on somewhat cool festivals in Portugal, followed by EP "It's Violent Juliette, Don't Look" on 2006 that put the band on another level, rising as one of the best underground acts, specially live, in this country blessed by the sun.

The ambition of doing something special next was evident, but first, a couple of demos were re-recorded in 2008. "Attachments" showed a new process of writing songs on old MCE tunes.

In the past 2 years the band closed itself on the studio, focusing on the production of debut album It's a World Receiver. After a whole lot of work, the record is out! DIY label because the music industry won't keep waiting. Expect everything! Dark ambients, massive breakdowns, long and intense songs, fast and furious riffs... MCE is back and wants to conquer the world.
