NEW RELEASE IN MARCH
So after being locked up in the practice room for the past 6 months working on the 2nd full length album, MAC will release 2 BRAND NEW tracks on March 26th through top indie label Gravity DIP offering a taste of what's to come from the follow-up to 'Actions'.
The main track 'Let's All Have A Disco' (Produced by Larry Hibbitt) was previewed at MAC's December shows at the end of last year. 'Save Yourself' has never been played live and is completely new and something a little bit different. Both tracks will be available for download at itunes and Napster and also on limited edition 10" vinyl. The vinyl will also feature 2 tracks from the mighty Scottish quartet 'Orko'.
The video for 'Let's All Have A Disco' will be uploaded to YouTube at the end of February and previews of both tracks will appear on Myspace a few weeks before the official release date, so check that out soon!
HISTORY...
MAC completed recording their eagerly awaited first full length album 'Actions' with Larry Hibbitt (Hundred Reasons Guitarist/Songwriter) in 2005. It hit the shops on August 8th, spawning 3 singles 'Put Up A Fight', 'Set To Go' and 'Awake'. The videos were played on Kerrang, MTV2, Scuzz, local and national radio. 'Put Up A Fight' was also featured on the Saints Row video game and on the Big Brother 6 series in Australia.
MAC toured heavily during 2004-06 in the UK rocking it hard with many top acts including; A, Capdown, Reel Big Fish, Fightstar, Fall Out Boy, MC Lars, Hopesfall, Reggie & The Full Effect, Jackson United & Alkaline Trio and have performed at the Download, Truck and Pukkelpop Festivals. In March/April '06 MAC toured Japan and then Australia (w/ Funeral For A Friend).
MAC will be heading to the studio to record their 2nd full length album shortly, watch this space for details.
