AStill quite new, Milwaukees goth rock band, My Alibi is making quite a scene. With performances at Gigantour, Black Label Society, Otep, Obituary and more they have begun making a name for themselves. Upon recieving some press and mass amounts of support from the locals they have gotten the chance to play the Metal Capitol of the US, Fichburg MA at Locobazooka. More details available at www.locobazooka.com. This show was previously headlined by Godsmack, Disturbed, Staind,and many other much respected metal bands. Every year 30-40 unsigned bands get a chance to paly the same stage out of 3000 entries all over the world and My Alibi has been selected to play along with music icons Alice in Chains. (buy My Alibi merch and cds to support this event and costs) Inspired by Dream Theater, Evanescence, Lacuna Coil, Distrubed, and Metallica started off as Andrea's (Jen(nifer Andrea) Christesen) solo act. As she sought other musicians her biggest set back was to find a suitable drummer. Until she met Ernie by chance who ironically was looking to start a female fronted goth rock project. Not knowing where to look to find such a singer he had almost given up the idea until he heard Jen's voice on a demo she had given to a mutal friend. The perfect elements of My Alibi stayed for over a year just one person away. The very first time that Ernie and Jennifer Andrea played together they knew they couldn't have made a better musical match. It took almost a year to get the final members in place such as Jonny V/ guitarist and Tim/ Bassist. My Alibi's birth date is June 2005, a that time just a vague sketch of what it has become. To the players a way to reach out to people everywhere and for those reading this pure inspiration we hope. My Alibi was born. With an angry bass driven keyboard, rich soaring female vocals, cutting edge guitar rifs, and raw metal precussion work, this band was egar to step into the light. Now that we have stepped into the light and released Things Still Forgotten EP and our first tshirt we will be releasing a second cd a single called Remnat's Burdan which will be including Believer and 4 other new surprise TBA songs.
