Hailing from Esch/Alzette - Luxembourg, MOTB is 4 slobs playing something like straight mathy, time-signature-laden indierock/post-hc combining organic angularity with a taste for captivating melodies. We love the epic, the sombre, the tragic, the geekship and the hispano flair.
We have shared stages with bands like Coheed And Cambria, Portugal.The Man, Cancer Bats, Maps And Atlases, Sleeping People, Cinemechanica, Meet Me In St. Louis, Honey For Petzi, These Arms Are Snakes, Engine Down, Coheed And Cambria, Maserati, Enablers, This Will Destroy You, Callisto, The End, Fear Before The March Of Flames, Heavy Heavy Low Low, 65 Days Of Static, Pelican, 31Knots, Barra Head, The Medications, Red Sparowes, Sometree, Ted Leo & The Pharmacists, Akimbo, Unwed Sailor, Efterklang, Eternal Tango, Rolo Tomassi, Miaow Miaow a.l.m... though this is not really of importance !!!
In 2005, we've put out a 1000copies limited split ep (2005) with TREASURE CHEST AT THE END OF THE RAINBOW (R.I.P.), which contains the very debut songs. The split has been released and distributed by NEW ROMANCE FOR KIDS Rec. in Canada, partly Northern America and Japan.
In march 07, the band has seen some member changes, since Dave decided to leave the band to surrender to his main occupation Eternal Tango. Longtime homie Pi joined the band to take over the (ball)grabber part.
At this very moment, 'Danger Mouth' is being mastered by Alan Douches (Mastodon, Converge, Fall Out Boy, Brand New, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Thrice, Locust, Les Sav Fav...) at West West Side Music. Feel free to listen to 1 new track - 'Call Me Cheeses'. 'Danger Mouth contains 11 songs of herky jerky craftsmanship and it'll be out in early 09. We'll keep you up on further details concerning the cover artwork, lyrics, etc. as soon as we have figured out things.
