MUSIC - 4GIVEN

Hello and thank you for visiting to our purevolume! We are a Christian-Alternative band named 4Given. All of us go to Blue Ridge High School and are currently in the 9th grade. Despite our young age and the distractions of life, we are devoted to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Music is one of the largest influences on teens today. No matter where you go, there is music playing and the music you listen to will eventually lead to the development of who you are and who you will become. Our goal is to spread the word (Jesus) to as many people as we can. After thinking about how we could get the word out, music seemed to fit perfectly: We all play instruments and we all love praising our Father in heaven.
So we formed, and we didn't have a name for quite awhile untill a former member of the band had the idea of naming the band "4Given". Liking the idea, we accepted it and took it in as our own. We think the name 4Given reflects on our God and how he is a forgiving one, unlike any other God in any other religion.
We also were members of the National Junior Beta Club in the 8th grade and went to the SC and National Beta Club Conventions. A former guitarist of the band, Josh Levell, was with us at the time. We competed in the group talent competition playing a song by the Newsboys called "He Reigns". We spread the word of Jesus Christ by simply doing what we love to do. Turns out that we won the SC and National Beta Club Conventions in the group talent area, but we are more proud of the song that we played and the God we represent, rather than the trophy.
