We've welcomed drummer Ben Curt into the band. After much searching, Ben made the cut after 4 auditions. We're in writing mode right now, and our short term goal is 9 songs (which since has turned into 10!.....one is a Modern English cover). When we get there and sound tight, we'll start playing shows. Recording plans are on the horizon too, more about that soon...........
That's it for now. Hope everyone enjoys the song "Black Water...." as much as we do playing it!

The Line up is 4/5ths of the way complete, but the core of the group has been established. Murder of Lillies is comprised of member of Wayward Distraction, Namely Tom and Halleia and Daniel and Victor of Murder of Lillies. We are just crossing our fingers and hope to play with a permanant drummer soon. Were mixing lots of elments-from deathrock influences such as Bauhaus, Killing Joke and The Damned to Post Punk bands like The Cure, Echo and the Bunnymen and New Order to Modern Bands like Ladytron, Editors and White Rose Movement. We hope to create a machine that is equal parts dark and powerful, while still dance driven with pop appeal. Will we succeed? You'll have to stay tuned to find out..
