Murder by Association began
in march 2006...Jorge and myself (Josh) started covering songs from our favorite bands...we didnt have any musicians yet and really wanted to start a band...we prayed bout it and a few weeks later we met Jonathan. Jonathan moved here from Durango, Mexico and we met him at our church...
anyways he used to play in a band in Mexico called Muertos Una Ves. When we heard about this, we asked if he could jam with us and we found out he was a great guitarist and excellent with his vocal chords, so we still needed a bass player.
Our guitarist Jorge asked Xavier to play bass. We liked what we heard and he now provides our low end...We mixed our sound with different influences like Norma Jean, metal core bands like As I Lay Dying, to bands like Every Time I Die...so we could come up with our own style.
Our songs provide melodic guitars, smooth bass riffs, fist clenching double bass breakdowns, and growls and screams to top it off, that make you wanna PUNCH A DOLPHIN!!!

Why Murder by Association?
....We believe that Christ was murdered by a group of people that rejected, mocked, and cursed him. We believe Jesus Christ died for us and rose again. (Romans 5:8, Acts 5:30)
