Formally known as the band Ithaca, the band changed their name to Moxy Bullets. Moxy Bullets are respected for their catchy hooks, crystal-clear vocals, and power pop rhythms which summarize this amazing four-piece Pop/Rock/Alternative band from San Diego, California. With amazing overtones reminiscent of early Pop/Post Punk Rock Modern era artists such as The Replacements, Joe Jackson, and The Tubes; Moxy Bullets are on the verge of stapling a sound of their own. Only a year or two in existence, the guys from Moxy Bullets met after relocating from Chicago, New Jersey, Arizona, and Northern California.

With an amazing melodic singer leading the way, a pianist on guitar, a guitarist on bass, and a drumline geek playing the drumset, Moxy Bullets has played their simple but punchy melodic rock at a number of venues in the Southern California area including 710 Beach Club, Lestat's, The Jumping Turtle, Dream Street, The Rhythm Lounge, The San Diego Pride Festival, Second Wind, and San Diego Sports Club.

Moxy Bullets have just finished working in the studio with producer Roland Lee Ware II of Rdub Recordings and engineer Jeff Forrest of Doubletime Studios on their debut LP set to be released on Rdub Recordings in Fall of 2009. Look out for new songs coming soon and keep supporting Moxy Bullets!
