m2pb is Matt Gurgol and Matt Struzik from Buffalo, NY.
It's been way too long since we've updated our purevolume site, so we thought it best to make our first update ten new songs from our new release, "...from Archives." We have been receiving some nice comments on both the PV and MySpace sites; thanks for listening and enjoying.
We hope you like the new tracks, and will be updating everyone shortly on how to get their own copies online. In the meantime, we invite you to listen and/or download our current ep and feel free to get back to us with any comments.
Finally, we'd like to thank all of the great bands and musicians that we have come to know and love for providing inspiration and enriching our musical experience.
Yours Truly,
Moving To Plan B

We took a little more time than we may have wanted to, but we finished up our latest ep, "...from Archives", and posted the tracks on our site. We're really proud of how the tracks came out, and know you'll feel the same. Please take some time to give them a listen and let us know what you think. We'll make the songs available online soon, so please come back often - and tell some friends about "..from Archives"...the more the merrier, right?!
Thanks for your support-
Matt

They won't be up for too long; they're just a little something to let you know we're still around and still working on new songs. We'll be adding the final tracks very soon, but thought you might want to hear a little of what's kept us in the studio for so long-

So Groundhog's Day came and went, and we are left with that empty feeling inside....that we still don't know when winter will truly end. Phil said, "It's over", while Dave said, "It's still on". Either way, we should try not to let the ramblings of over-stuffed varmints rule our world.
Another great night at Caz Coffee Cafe, as we had our own version of VH1's Storytellers - sans the limelight and cameras. The truest of the true fans braved the elements to join us, and unless they were lying, enjoyed the evening. We debuted some new songs, and even took some requests for next time (our buddy from open mic night made it out).
Thanks to our friends who made it out, and thanks to Caz for giving us an extended spot. We'll see you all very soon-

ps-Depending on who you believe, either try and stay warm or break out the Bermudas and flip-flops. Matt will be doing both.

'Just want to say thanks to the folks who come out and make the Caz Coffee Cafe Open Mic's worth coming to.
We had another chance to open up the evening at Caz, and we did our best to entertain the faithful. Things went pretty smooth as we debuted two new covers, and a couple more of our own. Tribute #1 goes to Simon and Garfunkel, with "The Boxer" (mtpb remix) which won the comment of the evening from one of our newest fans - "That was different. That was good." We weren't sure how to take it at first, but it was probably the best compliment Fan X could've given.
We also performed Cold Stares and Cold Showers for the first time; a well received debut. The newest of the new - Champagne - made its debut, with Brandon giving it two thumbs up. He picked up immediately that it was in 6/8 time (something that we didn't even know)...which shows the truest passion of the Caz Open Mic crowd.
The evening's host, Brandon Warren of Eisenhower (eisenhowermusic.net or myspace.com/eisenhowermusic) ripped it up, and stunned us all with his Jim Croce Super Medley. He's a cool dude, and you should mark your calendars for 2/24 when his group will play at Caz. If you're as cool as Matt you'll be there, too.
The last and best tribute came from a man know as Dan from Lackawanna. His tribute to Hank Williams was yet another of the many highlights you missed if you didn't make it out tonight. Damn you for having "something better to do".
Don't forget that we'll be at Buzz Cafe on 1/19, and Ms. Kitty's on 1/25. We'll also be back at Caz on 2/2.
Thanks for being you-
