Metal / Death Metal
"Everything flows... but, often, we can lay down how fast"
Motherstone project was born in 2003. The starting line-up was composed by Ivano, Riccardo, Eliana, Valerio and Giorgio. At the beginning the band tried to follow the nu-metal trend, taking advantage of the amazing melodic skills they had. After collecting some self-composed songs they started performing gigs in Rome and on January 2005 they recorded their first demo album titled "Just A Little Dose" with Alessio from the Disown To Alive as second guitarist. This album marked a significant moment about Motherstone's development process. Its members understood, felt and followed the need of a second guitar to bring more power and a better defined style to the compositions. Through a website they got in touch with Daniele and on Feb. 28th 2005 he officially became a Motherstone member. Daniele brought a new way to approach song-writing, brought power and a rocking thrashmetal style that changed the band so much to cause arguments and internal fights; it all led to the separation from Valerio. These changes put fuel on Mohterstone's fire and gave the band more stability and consciousness of its own skills. Riffs and songs started raining over the Motherstone; the band tested them performing some gigs in Rome and in Tuscany and the good feedbacks drove the band members to the decision to record a new work on December 2005.The distribution of this new work called "Through The Paths Of Insanity" will start on january 2006.
