Well hello.
So, we played our record release show at bowery, it was AMAZING! I was so psyched to play in NYC again finally for the first time since JULY! the crowd was amazing, it was none of that hipster jaded bullshit, people were pogo'ing and jumping all around and freaking out, the way i like it. All my best friends were in the front row smiling back up at me. And everywhere I looked were faces I knew, there were a lot of shout outs that night. I have a tendency to say someone's name if I see them on while I am on stage (hi _______!!). We had a plethora of Suicide Girls get up on stage in undies and dance around for the encore of NY GIRLS, ,they were fabulous, shout outs to Jaimie, Jaidee, Brooklyn, Raven and shit I know there were a couple of others. And to my lovely Donna who got up and stripped down like a pro for Take Off Your Clothes. She tells me apparently we made out when I was quite young as well (I have known her since I was 15) although I have no recollection of it (I really do have the WORST memory EVER, so don't be offended anyone if I don't remember you). But she looked amazing and danced amazing and was absolutely perfect for the show. I was so pleased, it was the longest set we ever played and we pulled the fucker off, maintaining the energy the whole time. Also Janice Cruz and Bryce Martin helped us out for Ride The Lights (they are both incredible). Oh yeah and Harrison did lights for the event (we met him when he was doing lights for Gang of Four) and he came out and did us the favor even though he had MONO. DOPE! Soooo much fun! there was pretty much the best review of it ever in today's NY POST. . . .
In other news pedro and I are going to Paris on Tuesday for two days to do Press for the european release (which I think will be in March??) and then London for a day to do the UK version of Advanced Warning for MTV UK there and more press. THere are a shitload of people I want to see in the one night I am there, I am sooo excited!!! Then to LA for a day or so before start our tour with head automatica!! I am really looking forward to this tour, now that our record is out. YAY! We will have new merch and everything by then. OH ALSO, there is a present for all those who are confused and/or dissapointed by the BLEEP in jetsetter (which i personally think is cooler then the actual FUCK, it draws more attention to it, and what the hell other curse rhymes with STUCK??).
