After a year and a half of time off and being out of the spot light, we have decided that our vacation is over!! We are currently writing for a new EP and ready to get back out there play our asses off every night for you kids. Now, this isn't going to be exactly the same Morgan that you were used to. There will be some tweaks in the sound and instead of Rob playing bass, we brought back former Morgan bass player, Matt Ramos. Just for fun here is a little Morgan history lesson for you...

Jake, Aaron, Rob and Clark (original drummer) formed the band in May of 2003, and in June, we played our first show at the Emagine Rock 'N' Roll Rumble (battle of the bands) and got knocked out in the first round by a South Lyon, MI based band called Obscured. Clark and Morgan parted ways in August which was when David joined the band.

We played our first show with David in October and everything was great but still something was missing. We knew Andy from his old bands and asked him to try out. It was love. Andy joined the band in December and in early January 2004, we released our "Heart Shaped Bomb EP." Shortly thereafter, Rob left the band and Matt joined.

In the summer of 2005, we went back and played the Rock 'N' Roll Rumble for the second year. The progress we have made in only 1 year was amazing. In the final round, it came down to Morgan Vs. Obscured. It was just like a movie. The sound of the sold out crowd chanting "Morgan! Morgan!" when it came time to vote was incredible. We won cuz we're sweet! A little side note, we also took 2nd place in a Cluth Cargo's battle of the bands with 60+ other bands.

Our "Heart Shaped Bomb EP" helped us get our music out into the Michigan local scene and pushed us farther than we expected, but we knew it was time for the next step. Matt then left the band and Rob came back. In February 2006, we released our full length cd "Seasons Expire." It's pretty sweet, you should pick it up.

By the end of 2006, we knew that Morgan had run its course and it was time to say goodbye. We ended our three year run on December 27th 2006 with a show at the Myspace Internet Cafe. We want to thank everyone who was there for us along the way. We appreciate and love you for it. No tears though, we're back now and more ready for round two than we have ever been for anything in our entire lives!! See you kids soon!!!
