Progressive / Metal / Experimental
Five guys that share a love of horror come together to play heavy music and the product is Monster Party, hailing from the small town of Warner Robins, Georgia. With a passion for metallic and melodic, the music created by a few friends having a good time is certainly something original and all in the name of fun. Parts of songs ranging from extreme technical, to black metal, back to something you'd believe was from a Tim Burton movie. With theatrics and blatant passion for the music they play, a live Monster Party show is something to behold. Featuring everything from fake blood to smoke bombs, the band's live show has gained them love from adoring fans and has had them banned from a venue or two. Whether it be live or on record, the band seeks to play heavy music portrayed through a recurring theme of zombies and various other monsters.
While only being active for a short while, the band has established themselves all over the state through various live performances and a nine track self-distributed demo. The five friends - guitarists Brent and Ryan, bassist Adam, drummer Evan, and vocalist Britt - fuse their love of the music they play with a DIY ethic and hard work to get themselves heard with a hope of everybody in their path joining in on the party. Intensity and raw talent are the name of the game when it comes to playing music for these guys but without taking themselves or their image too seriously. Driving to make watching them as entertaining as hearing them, the band constantly works on presenting themselves in new ways when playing shows, whether it be having four guitar parts going at once (with two guitarists) or swinging off guard rails over fans while playing a song. When it comes down to it, Monster Party can blow you away with heaviness but can seamlessly flow to melodic passages, showcasing the talent they truly have.
