Monroe (TX) on purevolume™

It was November of 2005, a new project and a new perspective was derived. To display the work and effort of their first studio recording, Audri Acuna [vocals. piano] & Justo Cisneros [guitar. sound box effects] wrote a collective amount of material that would establish Monroe. The result was a process of distilled ideas into a promising conformation of songs and arrangements. The two pursued to direct a sound of collective influences that in time was refined, though essentially accomplished to present to an audience. In hope of achieving a sincere following, Monroe have proposed a sound for others to recognize.

A significant part of their youth revolves around their love for music, along with the desire to express an array of musical avenues; its remained a focus to act upon. First properly introduced while attending a show as early teenagers, then later reacquainted at a holiday party celebration, a familiar liking and resemblance for music struck a musical partnership. With early intentions of the two developing a project, it was delayed for quite some time till previous engagements were cut off, that in turn, spawned the writing and commitment of Monroe. Accompanying listeners to the last years worth of recordings and performances, its given perspective to a progression and foreshadowing of what's to arrive.

This band is absolutely amazing! I can't stop
listening to all of the songs I wish they would put up
their songs for download or release an album or get
their music on itunes or anything because I love their
music too much to keep coming to this page over and
over again. So great!
