Moaning Lisa is unapologetic. They are gritty and strong, sexual and provocative, celebrating the fact that rock and roll and partying often walk down the aisle together. They cherish the days of dangerous rock and roll acts, from Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones and Queen to Van Halen, Motley Crue and Guns N Roses and they want to share their love of dirty rock with the lucky masses.

And yet, musically, they are well controlled. Each guitar lick and each harmony is played and sung with precision and passion. They are each skilled masters at their weapons of rock and show no mercy when wielding them. Its this discipline that provides every audience member with a performance they will not soon forget.

As much as they celebrate the old rock and roll bands, Moaning Lisa is receptive to constant evolution, as long as they always stay true to their New Hollywood mission. While they all love those edgy super bands of the 60s and beyond, each member injects his or her own unique influences as well, from Filter to Jeff Buckley to Tom Petty to the Pixies to U2 to The Killers.

Put all this together and you get Moaning Lisa, a hard working band that is ready to step up and take over this New Hollywood movement, to lead the masses in the next big thing in music, to remind everybody what rock and roll means, why we crave it and where its headed next.
