Miracle Biography
Miracle was created in June of 2001, and even though they have not been on the road for so long, they are making a name for themselves in the Brazilian metal world. Soldiers of Light is their first album and the contents of this Demo CD include elements of Melodic Power Metal, Progressive Metal, and Hard Rock.
The members of the band are: Allyson Oliveira (vocals), Mike R. Vieira (drums) and Felipe Vieira (guitar), Alexandre Keiji (keyboard), and Bruno Assumpo (bass). We all started when we were young, and each one liked a different instrument. The only thing we needed was a singer, who appeared when we met Allyson. The themes of the songs are Christian, and are in the style of Melodic Power Metal. On March 3rd, 2002, Miracle played with the band Seven Angels (also from Curitiba), and this day marks the beginning of Miracles race to preach the gospel of Christ through music.
The repercussion of the demo and of the concerts has been great. During the release of the demo in Foz De Iguacu, the band, while still in sound check, had sold half of the CDs which they had taken. At the beginning of the concert, the CDs were sold out. Due to their age and their musical style, the band has been attracting some attention from the local and international press.
Miracle has had its songs divulged in Japan, Germany, Spain, New Zealand, Korea, Argentina, Mexico, Paraguai, Holland, Colombia, Uruguai, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Guatemala, Finland, Australia, Sweden, Italy, and the United States; they have had good acceptance from magazines and radios of these countries.
Miracle opened a concert for the German band Seventh Avenue on October 29th, 2002, in Curitiba (during a tour all across Brazil). They have had evangelical concerts with: Seven Angels, Brutal Sacriface, Spiritz Brize, Vulgata, Parouzia, Seventh Avenue, Dracma, and has performed in Foz do Iguau, Campo Mouro-PR, Toledo-Pr, Araucria-PR, So Paulo-SP, Franca-SP, Chapec-SC, Tubaro-Sc, Larangeiras do Sul-Pr,Buenos Aires (Argentina), Assumpo(Paraguay), Santa Cruz de La Sierra ( Bolivia) , Arequipa, Lima, Trujillo (Peru), Loja andQuito (Ecuador) and other places, and are about to go on a tour across most of South America.
