The Beatles once sang "I'll get by with a little help from my friends" and that is exactly what Minus Talent is all about. The band is based off of lead singer, Mike Renfer's, trials and tribulations as well as the friendships and heartaches that come along with growing up. For many years Mike recorded his experiences in his 'Tablet of Emotions' never having the intent of these innermost feelings being seen by anyone other then himself; however one day lead guitarist and longtime friend, Mike Sharkey, stumbled on to the Tablet and decided to add music to Renfer's words.

The first song the group ever wrote was the reflective tune 'Best of Intentions.' After realizing the chemistry the group had, they decided to keep the music coming. Their now infamous hit, 'The Truth (I'm Sick of It)' was soon to follow. After a few acoustic shows the boys decided to experiment with the idea of a full band. After adding Sam and Ryan to the mix they knew they had struck gold.

The band is currently in the process of writing a few new songs to finish off their debut EP and are looking forward to booking a small local tour during the upcoming months.
