Minoru Hirata Profile:

Minoru Hirata was born in Ensenada , Baja California Mexico in 16 october 1987.
From a very early age, Minoru always had the interest for listening to diverse music. He started listening to new wave sounds of the 80s bands such as : depeche mode , the cure , new order , and also listened to the genres of progressive house, trance , deep house which all influenced his unique sound today.

Minoru thanks to his family for giving him his first equipment to mix was privileged to being able to DJ before he was dedicated to the production.
At the young of age of 15 his father gave him his first keyboard, giving him a head start into shaping the musical artist he would become

At the age of 16 Minoru obtained a DJ time slot, thanks to Cezar Manzano in a show of a local radio called Retro dedicated to the electronic music and 80s radio station known as XHBCE 92,1 FM of Musicadena www.radio921fm.com Minoru was given the opportunity to land his first gigs thanks to Javier Sanchez where he played with other local talents in the scene of B.C Mex such as: Cezar Suarez, Lx Gibran, tovar, Rodrigo Espinoza, Del Baus, bendhel, Aleksei, Banano, and Periko, to name some.

Minoru then obtained his first synthesizer and keyboard MIDI in which he began toying with the creation of sounds through oscillating and filters. The end result was a passion in the digital recording and creation of music through computer software.

Some of his current influences have been international artists such as: Hernan Cattaneo, Martin Garcia, John digweed,Sasha, Sultan, dousk,Kasey taylor to name some

His work has been embraced throughout Argentina especially such as when
Ernesto Sodano of ADN Radio charted his first major hit dream experience in his chart of May in www.Progressivehouse.com. His tracks have been played by other artists such as: Ezequiel Marotte of Buenos Aires, where he opened his set with Minorus major hit "last night in Israel". Argentina producer and Dj, Facundo Mohrr also invited to his program beatprogress of beatbox radio (Arg) www.beatbox.fm. Minoru`s recent production hit "come inside" Was played in the station
"the Essential" in Hungria (www.theessential.hu) where other world renown producers of the electronic music have appeared such as snake sedrick, and v-sag, Famous Talent top dj from Turkia such as Dj Tarkan and talent from Argentina Hellfyre & Bs As Deep Charted his recent tracks : dark judgement/come inside in the month of April & May 2006. In May "Eastern Dawn" as well was played by Nicholas Van Orton in Ksk Radio. Another great achievements was when the Buenos Aires popular radio program in Dancelatinoamerica.com "Frecuencia Zoom" selected his track broken flowers "as the track of the week for April 26 2006 " and "Sad tree" as well played by Martin Garcia in his Radio Show. "Main Room" 95.1 Metro dance, other archievement is "Come Inside" as well played by Deep Mariano in Club Pacha Buenos Aires and the same day in radio show TBA Mercury Sessions of July 08 2006.

Minoru has been invited in many radio stations such as Beatbox radio in the show of Ezequiel Marotte in (Arg) and also in ADN Alternative Radio one of the best radio stations of (Arg) where was named Artist of the week, also has appeared in Hibrido .Dancelatinoamerica in (Colombia), and Club 246 www.club246.com (Canada) in the program of Lima Live Sessions (Peru) & Bit Records Sessions(Mexico).

Today, Minoru Hirata presides over his own radio show: Third World Sessions, transmitted from Ensenada, Baja California Mexico and ADN Alternative radio (Buenos Aires, Argentina). It focuses to expose the work of the scene showing pure deep progressive house productions of DJs and producers of Mexico city and the world. www.adnalternative.com.ar

Minoru today has projects in co production with great friends such as:
Ezequiel Marotte "beatbox radio"de Bs As (Argentina) and Angel Alfonso of Ensenada, Baja California Mexico.

Today at the age of 18 Minoru Hirata continues to study music production and his local roots in Mexico are the driving force behind that.
