New Song Up//If I Fail - UPDATED!

I wrote this song around Christmas time. I wasn't feeling the best at the time, some setbacks had me pretty down, and I hadn't been playing guitar for a while. I finally picked one up, played some simple chords and just starting singing what was coming to mind, jotting them down as I went. The lyrics in this song ended up mostly being a reflection of the year that had just passed. I had been living in Edmonton until that spring, and came home with some aspirations that never quite came around. After all the plans I had made, I ended up mostly idling away the rest of the year without much to show for it. UPDATE// I've spent a while working on the song, I've added drums and percussion, as well as electric guitar. Going to focus on some new vocals next. This is a huge improvement from the original in my eyes. Hope you enjoy.
