keep it real. don't do drugs.say hi to your neighbors. put the toilet seat down when you're done. turn off the faucet while you're brushing your teeth and turn off the light when you leave. do your homework. don't eat McDonald's. listen to music. say something positive every day. eat breakfast. get seven hours of sleep ATLEAST. no regrets. visit some other part of the country some time in your life besides Mexico. if you try and at first don't succeed, maybe it's just not your thing, but give it another try anyways. never forget MIKE POPE.don't drink. smile, because you'll never get that moment back when you wish you had.say i love you, precisely when you feel like saying it, but only if you mean it.never give up, it only makes you weaker. pray. sing in the shower. don't be afraid to sink into a deep thought. write it down. laugh at yourself. never make fun of people simply because you don't like them, no matter what the reason, that's just inhuman. grasp the outstretched hand.call your parents when you're out of the house, it'll make their day. treat others the way you would like them to treat you in return.try to get good grades, but don't complain if you didn't try.school's not for everyone, some people like to sleep in boxes. if you win the lottery, give it to charity, and save the rest. if you can't have kids, adopt.Mike Pope IS a ninja, that's just the way it is.play an instrument. go camping.Don't move to North Carolina, unless you're going to live on the beach.Life can suck, but don't suck at life.don't curse.wash your hands after you go potty.gossip is a waste of breath.write a poem.be a role model. be a leader.- Be what you want to be but not what you're not if it's not what you want- follow the above. repeat.-

My music is like a wave washing on the shoreline of a lonely beach. The sound of soothing, melodic, ambient and warming tones crash and trickle gently to their peak, leaving that faint dark line clinging to a band of soft sand that wraps an island in its grasp. Then retreating, is swallowed back in to a familiar blue, never straying far from the feet of the white.

My music is the song in the trees, whistled marvelously to the swooshing of the leaves in a morning breeze. It dances from branch to branch gliding on the currents of the wind from beak to beak in a double-dutch duet - one hops out, and another joins in.

My music is the voice in my head, saying everything I needed to say but couldn't, everything I wanted to say but wouldn't, everything that was almost said, but instead was left behind in the digested shadow of another thought. My music brings my thoughts to light, my feelings to light, my wishes, won'ts, and do's and don'ts with rhythms and notes and all of the voices that call to me, saying exactly what it is I wanted to say. Each feeling has its own voice, its own distinctive plea to be set free. This voice, this language that connects all people, calls to us with an astounding vibrato, screams at us to "Listen." "Hear me," it says to us, "feel me, and know me."

This is MY voice, and if you listen, you will feel it, and know me.
