MIDWEZT WILL BE RECORDING THEY'RE DEBUT ALBUM NEXT YEAR SO WATCH OUT FOR THAT) MIDWEZT' Giving a new direction to Alternative Country Rock' By way of introduction we are a five piece band consisting of Charlie Armitage( Lead Singer/Songwriter)-Mick Davison( Singer/Songwriter-and guitar player)-Eddie Duff( Bass player and backing vocal,s)-Mirko Munneratti (Lead guitar and backing vocals),Charlie originate,s from west yorkshire and after spending a couple of years travelling round the world moved to peterborough and met mick davison,Mick who was once signed with decca records and played along side the WHO-MOODY BLUES-and the HOLLIES; building over the year,s great respect ,Charlie and mick performed as a due for awhile and writing before adding Mirko and Eddie to form midwezt,Eddie lived in south africa for 21 years and toured with the south african legend'DION WILLIAMSON ,Mirko from italy 'I like to call him the italian cowboy,Mirko lived and giged in brighton and played in london before joining us,he,s a great guitarist and a pleasure to work with,We have one of the best drummer's ive seen for awhile and thats my great friend FOZ Dixon ,Foz has played with everyone and everywhere this include N,YORK -TEXAS -DALLAS ,I love working with foz,YOU CAN ADD US ON MYSPACE... www.myspace.com/midwezt1

MIDWEZT REVIEWED BT FATEA

hi. Listening to the tracks that you've got up on MySpace, I'd say you've pretty much got most of the areas covered. The songs are well written. Both the performance and production are good and solid. The material has an edge to it that is often polished out by over enthusiasm. Both instrumentation and vocals deliver.

The band has quite a distinctive look. My problem is that whilst you've got good songs and material I'm not sure that there is anything to it that what I'd call a Midwezt signature.

That said, I'm only listening to four tracks and there are quite a few bands with bland cliches that seem to get airplay and you are most certainly not in that catagory.

I'd definitely be interested in giving your album a run out when you've got copies available. For a band that's looking to launch it's debut album, I'd say you've come a lot further than most and have got a lot going for you.

If your tracks were on my system, I would be definitely return to them.
