Midnight Rider is an up and coming christian rock band from Fredericksburg, VA. The band was started in the summer of 2005 and has become a refreshment from the many noise-core metal bands that make up the Fredericksburg music scene. Midnight Rider brings together many musical influences, from Killswitch Engage, Saosin, Silverstein, and even Children of Bodom together with vocal styles and melodies similar to popular christian bands such as falling up, 12stones, forever changed, and anberlin. With a good balance between hard rock music and Christian lyrics, Midnight Rider brings a potent mix to the table, while retaining a distinctive sound characterized by catchy guitar riffs, face melting solos, smooth and chill piano and searing synth leads, thunderous and head spinning drums, with catchy vocals and a positive message about Jesus Christ. The band plans to head to the studio this Christmas to record their first full length album.
