Theres no dubiety in the upcoming success of the acoustic-driven alternative rock music of Micah Bentley. Using their abilities of songwriting and musicianship, these boys of Phoenix, Arizona are on the rise, exceeding many of the expectations that most new bands are held captive by. Micah Bentley himself along with band mate James Cawley joined forces in late January of 2005 and started off by packing out free coffee shop acoustic shows. Less than four months after being together, Micah Bentley was nominated for best singer/songwriter in the Arizona Infusion of Music Awards. As the style of music evolved and grew, so did the band. By mid-summer, Micah Schmidt and Jayson Hutchison completed the quartet bringing further instrumentation to the line-up and the band completed their EP entitled My Heart Beats Fast. Providing the encounter of ambience and dynamics with vigorous guitar tones, the boys create songs that challenge and reflect the hearts of their listeners. From love to disaster Micah sings of his own occurrences in life. Micah Bentley's constant progression of sound always makes them the cynosure of the night, fueling their ambitions of spreading their distinctive sound to the world as a way of life.
